How Verify Code Works
Product authentication in four steps — from code generation to the customer's smartphone verification.
Brand generates codes
The brand creates a batch of one-time redeemable codes on the Verify Code platform. Volume follows the plan chosen.
Codes go on the pack
Codes are printed or affixed on each product unit — as a QR code and a short alphanumeric string — during the existing packaging step.
Customer scans
The customer scans the QR code with a smartphone camera. WhatsApp opens with the code pre-filled, or the online check page loads.
Instant result + insight
Verify Code returns an authenticity result in seconds. The brand sees verification activity and repeat-scan flags in the dashboard.
Does the customer need to install anything?
No. Verify Code uses the smartphone camera and WhatsApp — both of which most customers already have.
If a customer prefers not to use WhatsApp, they can enter the code on the Verify Code online check page. Both paths hit the same verification back end and return the same result.
What does the brand see?
Every verification is logged. The brand's dashboard reports how many codes were verified, when, and whether any code was scanned multiple times.
Repeat-scan patterns can indicate a counterfeit attempt — for example, a photographed code being reused on many fake units — which surfaces in the same dashboard for follow-up.
